Uranus

Lilith (most commonly Black Moon Lilith) represents the wild, untamed, refused part of the self — what won't be domesticated.

Ceres is the largest asteroid (now a dwarf planet) — the archetype of nurture, food, the mother, and what sustains.
Pallas
Pallas Athena is the asteroid of strategic wisdom, pattern recognition, and creative intelligence applied to problems.

Juno is the asteroid of committed partnership — what you need in a long-term bond, how you experience marriage.
Vesta
Vesta is the asteroid of sacred focus, devotion, and the inner flame — what you tend with reverence.

Aries
Aries is the first zodiac sign — a fire sign ruled by Mars, associated with initiative, courage, and starting things.
Taurus
Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus — sensual, patient, slow to start but very hard to stop.
Gemini
Gemini is a mutable air sign ruled by Mercury — curious, fast-thinking, social, drawn to multiplicity and variety.
Cancer
Cancer is a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon — emotional, home-oriented, fiercely protective of what it loves.
Leo
Leo is a fixed fire sign ruled by the Sun — warm, generous, creative, drawn to recognition and play.
Virgo
Virgo is a mutable earth sign ruled by Mercury — analytical, precise, service-oriented, with a finely-tuned eye for detail.
Libra
Libra is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus — relational, aesthetic, drawn to fairness and the beauty of balance.
Scorpio
Scorpio is a fixed water sign ruled by Mars and Pluto — intense, private, drawn to depth and the parts of life others avoid.
Sagittarius

Capricorn
Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn — patient, ambitious, drawn to mastery and the long climb.
Aquarius
Aquarius is a fixed air sign ruled by Saturn and Uranus — intellectual, future-oriented, detached, drawn to systems and the collective.
Pisces
Pisces is a mutable water sign ruled by Jupiter and Neptune — empathic, imaginative, porous to others' feelings, drawn to the spiritual and creative.
Aspects
Conjunction
Two planets within ~8° of each other — their energies fuse and act as a single combined force in the chart.
Opposition
Two planets ~180° apart — they sit across the chart from each other, often creating polarity, tension, or awareness of the other.
Square
Two planets ~90° apart — a tense aspect that produces friction, growth, and the energy to act.
Trine
Two planets ~120° apart — the most harmonious aspect, where energies flow together easily.
Sextile
Two planets ~60° apart — a harmonious aspect that produces opportunity rather than ease alone.
Quincunx
Two planets ~150° apart — the awkward aspect of adjustment between energies that don't share an element or modality.
Semi-sextile
Two planets ~30° apart — a subtle aspect of mild adjustment between adjacent signs.
Semi-square
Two planets ~45° apart — a minor hard aspect that produces low-grade friction.
Sesquiquadrate
Two planets ~135° apart — a minor hard aspect (semi-square + square), producing slow chronic friction.
Quintile
Two planets ~72° apart — a creative-talent aspect associated with the fifth-harmonic series.
Biquintile
Two planets ~144° apart — twice the quintile; the fifth-harmonic creative aspect at a different angle.
Houses
1st house
The 1st house begins at the Ascendant — your body, your style of arrival, the lens you see the world through.
2nd house
The 2nd house rules personal resources — money you earn, what you value, your relationship to material security.
3rd house
The 3rd house rules the immediate world — siblings, neighbors, short trips, daily communication, the mind in motion.
4th house
The 4th house rules home, roots, family of origin, and your inner foundation — the private base you operate from.
5th house
The 5th house rules creativity, play, romance, children, and self-expression — what you make for the pleasure of making it.
6th house
The 6th house rules daily work, health, routine, and service — the small repeated actions that build a competent life.
7th house
The 7th house rules committed one-to-one relationships — marriage, business partners, the qualities you seek in another.
8th house
The 8th house rules shared resources, intimacy, transformation, and what gets exchanged — including death, taxes, and other people's money.
9th house
The 9th house rules the bigger picture — higher education, distant travel, philosophy, religion, the search for meaning.
10th house
The 10th house rules career, reputation, public life — what you build outward from your private foundation.
11th house
The 11th house rules friends, groups, networks, and the future you're building toward — the collective dimension of life.
12th house
The 12th house rules the unconscious, the hidden, places of retreat, and what dissolves the boundary between self and other.
Techniques
Ascendant
The Ascendant (or Rising sign) is the zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at your birth moment — how you meet the world.
Midheaven
The Midheaven (MC) is the southernmost point of your chart — career, public reputation, life direction visible to others.
Retrograde
A planet appearing to move backward from Earth's perspective — astrologically, a review period rather than a disaster period.
Synastry
Synastry is chart comparison between two people — overlaying their charts to see where they connect and where they grind.
Composite
A composite chart treats the relationship itself as a third entity — its own chart, its own Sun, Moon, and Rising.
Transit
A transit is where a planet is in the sky right now — and how that current position aspects your natal chart.
Solar return
The chart cast for the moment the Sun returns to its exact natal degree — your astrological year, birthday to birthday.
Annual profection
A Hellenistic symbolic timing technique — every year the Ascendant advances one whole sign, cycling through your twelve natal houses every twelve years.
Descendant
The Descendant is the western horizon point opposite the Ascendant — the cusp of the 7th house, what you meet in others.
Imum Coeli (IC)
The Imum Coeli is the northernmost point of your chart — your roots, family of origin, private foundation, opposite the Midheaven.
Aspect
An aspect is a specific angular relationship between two points in a chart — how planetary energies interact.
Orb
The orb is how far from exact an aspect can be and still count — the tolerance around each angular relationship.
Cusp
A cusp is the boundary line between two houses or two signs — the starting edge of a new territory.
Element
The four astrological elements — fire, earth, air, water — classify signs by their fundamental energetic mode.
Modality
The three modalities — cardinal, fixed, mutable — classify signs by their mode of action: initiating, sustaining, or adapting.
Dignity
Dignity describes how strong or weak a planet is in a given sign — domicile, exaltation, detriment, fall, plus minor dignities.
