Biquintile

A biquintile occurs when two planets are 144 degrees apart — twice the quintile angle, also part of the fifth-harmonic series. The interpretive territory is similar to the quintile: creativity, specialized talent, the capacity for distinctive output, but expressed at a different angular relationship. Orbs are tight, typically 2 degrees. Biquintiles are most often noticed in the charts of people with unusual creative range or in chart synthesis where a quintile-biquintile combination across multiple planet pairs suggests a chart whose owner produces creatively-coded work. As with quintiles, biquintiles aren't widely used in mainstream practice but matter to harmonic astrologers and to anyone looking for the angle of a chart's specific genius.
