Transit
A transit is where a planet is in the sky right now — and how that current position aspects your natal chart.
A transit is the position of a planet at any given moment in the sky and, more importantly, the aspects it forms to the points in your natal chart. Transits are how astrology becomes a daily-life practice: the slow planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) form months-long aspects to your natal points and define the chapter you're in; the fast planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) form quicker aspects that color days and weeks. Inner-planet transits describe the texture of your week; outer-planet transits describe the texture of your years. The natal chart is the map of who you are; transits are the moving sky overlaid on that map. The Astro Diary's /today page surfaces today's loudest transits to your specific natal placements, with per-row LLM reads explaining what each transit is doing.
