7th house

The 7th house begins at the Descendant (the western horizon, directly opposite the Ascendant) and rules committed one-to-one relationships: marriage, business partnerships, close collaborators, and — in classical astrology — open enemies. The sign on the Descendant describes the qualities you most reach for in a partner, often qualities that complete or balance your own 1st-house signature.
